Ginza-yonchōme crossing (銀座四丁目交差点) with the department stores Wako (和光) and Mitsukoshi (三越), the symbol of Ginza. The large street between the 2 department stores is the Chuo street, which is a busy road on weekdays. The another street, in front of them is the Harumi street (晴海通り) which is not vehicle-free area.
The clock tower of Wako was destroyed by Godzilla, in the movie of 1954.

People are sitting on benches under the big umbrella. Why don’t beer makers sell beer around here? They should do that!

“g.u.” on the Chuo street. This store is managed by Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. as same as UNIQLO. g.u. is more cheaper than other fast fashion brands include UNIQLO, so it is popular with young people and families.

CHANEL boutique on Chuo street. This is the flagship store in Japan. A classy french restaurant “BEIGE ALAIN DUCASSE TOKYO” which is produced by CHANEL is on the top of this building. This restaurant has two Michelin stars.

Let’s take a longer walk to the Sukiyabashi crossing (数寄屋橋交差点)! Sukiyabashi crossing is the second symbol of Ginza. Ginza station, Hibiya station and Yurakucho station are near here, and there are thousand of shops as well.

My favorite sweets shop, Fujiya (不二家). Fujiya is a far-reaching chain, but this shop has many kinds of “Ginza limited”. I recommend the “Milky Roll”.
